CDF Students festive 2010 [Dinakaran - Tamil News paper update]

The inauguration of the “Rural Students Holistic Development Program” happened on 23-August-2008 @ Edamalaipattiputhur Municipality School.
The representatives of CDF, Udhavum Manangal, school principal, teachers and center coordinators of CDF-UM participated in the inauguration.
15 students each from our Edamalaipattiputhur/Bheema Nagar centers also participated enthusiastically.
Ms.Jayanthi from UM gave welcome address with the introduction of dignitaries. She outlined about the whole program to the students and other participants.
Sampath [CDF member] discussed with the children about their dream in their life and how to achieve the same using this Rural Students Holistic Development Program.
Ex-Principal of the Edamalaipattiputhur Municipality School explained the students about this program, he stated that this program is the golden opportunity for them to get focused on their studies and requested them to utilize it fully to uplift their families. Being a mathematics teacher, he gave mathematical tips to the students and also he was very eager to take classes on Math’s in our study centers every week.
Kumaran [CDF Member] discussed with the students about spending more time to understand the subjects will help them in future rather than memorizing. He also discussed about the English/Tamil medium barriers and how to overcome the same.
The School Management felicitated CDF/UM representatives.
Kumaran [CDF member] presented Rs 15,000 as a cheque from CDF for the operation of two centers and students savings account for initial period of 3 months.
Edmalaipattiputher study center coordinator started her work on the day one itself. Hats off!!! Madam with the help of you we hope to bring these students to a greater level.
CDF has celebrated Deepavali with 100 kids on Oct18th 2008 at Vathslyam Nikethan, Hosur.
CDF conducted various competitions and prizes were distributed for the childrens.CDF memebers enjoyed the celebration with kids and also cdf members distributed the fruits and snacks for all the kids. CDF presented the cracker boxes to Vathslyam Nikethan.
